I'm a writer and editor living and working in Minneapolis, MN. Writers often refer to themselves as storytellers, and that much is true, of course — but I see us even more as storylisteners, ear to the ground, trying to discern and sift into imperfect language what all of this is trying to tell us. My perspective is deeply influenced by the mystics and poets, the prophetic theologians and the ones who are theologians even when they aren't trying to be: Annie Dillard, Hafiz, Merton, Bruggemann, Oliver, the beautiful silence I found with the Ignatians in St. Louis, and all things that are undomesticated at heart.
