As both a creative and as a parent to school age kids, I feel this one. We have to find ways to show kids how to thoughtfully interact with all these technologies rather than always trying to control and restrict usage and access.
Attempting to restrict or stop usage always puts us in reactive mode instead of proactive mode. If we don't show kids how to use these tools, then the tools are always going to wind up in the hands of those who have more knowledge, more power, and likely less integrity — and we're always going be to putting all our energy into pushing back against misuse rather than actually harnessing the power of these tools for good.
